REFEREE’S COURSE
There will be more Referee’s Course held in 2010.
All details to follow;
Date:
Time:
Venue:
It is very important that we find new referee’s to continue to officiate our game. In recent years the number of games played in Connacht at both adult and underage levels has increased significantly. Therefore we simply need more Referee’s in order to cover as many of these games as possible.
Refereeing offers people a number of benefits including;
- Keeping fit.
- Participation in our great game.
- Monthly Workshops and Courses.
- New Gear from September 2009.
- Games at all levels to cater for your ability with a clear pathway to progress.
- The chance to benefit your club financially through the Clubs of
Ireland Scheme.
I would ask clubs to actively seek new Referee’s as this will only benefit your club in the long term. Individuals interested in the course should contact Dave O’Brien (0876418340, dave@cbirfu.com ) and register as soon as is possible.
